IIM Jammu, NSE Academy collaborate to offer certificate courses in finance

Under this partnership, the two institutions have decided to announce several short-term and long-term programs shortly.

IIM Jammu Admissions: NSE Academy Limited (NAL), a subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), has collaborated with the Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Jammu. The two bodies have signed a memorandum of understanding (Mou) to launch joint certification programmes in finance and financial technologies. Students interested in IIM Jammu admissions for joint certification programmes in finance and financial technologies must note that these programmes will be delivered through online and hybrid mode. The programme will be co-certified by both institutions. 

Under this partnership, the two institutions have decided to announce several short-term and long-term programs shortly. These programmes will be aimed at working professionals. Custom-designed programmes for organisations seeking to build leadership capabilities in the finance and financial technology domain will also be announced shortly.

During the signing of the MoU, Professor BS Sahay, Director IIM Jammu, talked about the aims and objectives behind the esteemed collaboration. The professor said, “This MoU will make professional education and training in finance and allied areas accessible to a wider section of aspiring professionals. A collaborative approach is the need of the hour and in line with the New Education Policy, 2020 too.”

Meanwhile, several new courses have been launched by IITs and IIMs in the current session. These newly launched courses are not limited to college students, but some programmes have also been introduced for working professionals. Candidates interested in upskilling while working can join these courses to upgrade and excel in the industry.
