IIM Visakhapatnam launches programme on public procurement
Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is supporting the programme. The public procurement programme launched by the management institute aims to provide valuable information to government officials in enhancing their efficiency with regard to the public procurement processes.
Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam (IIM-V) has launched a three-day programme on public procurement at its premises on the Andhra University campus.
Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is supporting the programme. The public procurement programme launched by the management institute aims to provide valuable information to government officials in enhancing their efficiency with regard to the public procurement processes.
A diverse group of 33 participants belonging to various public sector undertakings across India are taking part in the programme on public procurement.
Addressing the gathering at the inaugural ceremony, Waltair divisional railway manager Saurabh Prasad commended the commitment of IIM-Vizag in delivering high-quality academic services. He observed that the CVC-supported public procurement programme will greatly contribute to a better understanding of public procurement services.
IIM-V dean (Administration) M V Anuradha said the knowledge gained from the public procurement programme will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills of participating officers in the procurement of goods and services.
