NITIE Admissions 2021: National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) has extended the registration deadline for its global online certification course on supply chain operations and disruption management. Candidates interested in NITIE Admissions 2021 must note that now the last date to register for the NITIE SCM certificate programme is September 26, 2021. The official tweets released by the institute read, “NITIE has introduced the ‘Supply Chain Operations & Disruptions Management’ Certification Course in association with Prof. Tadeusz Sawik (AGH University, Poland & Reykjavik University, Iceland), under the leadership of Director, NITIE, Prof. @mktiem.” It further adds, “Owing to multiple requests, the registration deadline has been extended to 26th September. Register Now! For any queries, Email: scmdisruption@nitie.ac.in.” The duration of the NITIE SCM certificate programme will be from September 29 to October 27, 2021. No classes will be conducted during the week of Dussehra festival i.e. from October 11 to October 17, 2021.

The official statement regarding the course published on the NITIE website reads, “The course focuses on supply chain operations and disruptions management. The course also emphasizes mathematical modelling and optimization of business objectives using Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP) through hands-on training on AMPL. It includes real-life business cases with mathematical modeling and obtaining optimized solutions using MIP.”

NITIE further states, “Our goal for this course is to help you understand advanced supply chain management concepts, and better prepare you for uncertainties & disruptions. NITIE SCM Admissions 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in supply chain operations and disruptions management can apply for the course. However, the desirable pre-requisites required for the Course include basic knowledge of Supply chain and business operations, Operational Research and Statistics.

Current students (Bachelors/ Masters / PhD / FPM) would benefit if they have at least completed an introductory course on Operations Management or Operations Research. Industry participants with domain knowledge in supply chains operations, planning and scheduling are also eligible to apply.
