Southern Cross University Cuts UG Fees to AUD 26,000, Eyes Deeper Academic Ties With India
Under Access 26 initiative, SCU has brought down undergraduate fees from around AUD 35,000–36,000 to AUD 26,000.
Southern Cross University Australia has reduced its undergraduate tuition fees to AUD 26,000 for various courses. This decision is likely to help financial planning for international students, including those from India.
SCU has reduced UG fees from around AUD 35,000–36,000 to AUD 26,000 for improving access and inclusion for students from various socio economic backgrounds.
“Equity, accessibility and inclusion are core to what we do at Southern Cross University. Access 26 is designed to make high quality Australian education affordable for students from diverse backgrounds including India,” said Dr Renaud Joannes-Boyau, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), SCU.
Dr Joannes-Boyau said that his university is committed to Indian students and continues to view Australia as a safe, stable and welcoming destination for international education.
“Geopolitics can be complex, but our commitment to Indian students remains strong. We are also expanding online education pathways to ensure students can access SCU programmes even when travel is not immediately possible,” he said.
“India brings immense strength in innovation, R&D and talent while we contribute expertise in global regulatory frameworks, commercialisation and international market access,” he said.
