Ahmedabad University Admissions 2020: Class 10, 11 marksheet accepted for UG courses

The University started the admission application process on April 18 and made the provision of accepting class 10 and 11 marksheets as many students across the nation are yet to appear for the pending board exams or have not received the class 12 results.

Ahmedabad University admission process 2020 for the academic year 2020-21 commenced amid the nationwide lockdown imposed to control the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic. As the outbreak of the deadly virus affected the schedule of the board exams 2020, the University decided to accept class 10 and class 11 marksheets to enrol students to various undergraduate programmes.

The University started the admission application process on April 18 and made the provision of accepting class 10 and 11 marksheets as many students across the nation are yet to appear for the pending board exams or have not received the class 12 results.

The notice by Ahmedabad University reads,” We will be allowing for possible delays in the announcement JEE (Main) All India Rank (in the case of the BTech Programme). Students are to submit Class 10 and Class 11 marksheets/ gradesheets, and add their JEE Main results as they become available.”

Meanwhile, the University of Ahmedabad is yet to declare the admissions and application process for postgraduate and PhD courses.

Considering the ongoing health risk due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the University made the application process completely online. Students interested in taking admission are required to fill online forms to register for the undergraduate course of their choice and upload required documents.

All personal interactions between the students and the authorities of the university will be held through video conferencing platforms. The university also launched a helpline number and email service to sort and resolve queries and concerns of the students.

The notice released on the official Ahmedabad University website also advises students to keep an eye out for any notice released by the university regarding the admission process or any new updates and information regarding the upcoming academic session.
