Cyclone Gulab: Andhra University, JNTUH postpones UG, PG exams

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and Andhra University have postponed the exams that were scheduled to be held today; i.e. September 27, in wake of the heavy rainfall alert due to Cyclone Gulab. The remaining JNTUH exams will be conducted as per the schedule from September 28.
The Btech, BPharm, PharmD and PharmD (PB) regular and supplementary exams have been postponed, JNTUH informed in a notice issued early morning. The new dates will be informed soon.
“In view of bad weather conditions and heavy rains and also considering the requests received from various rural college Principals, the BTech/BPharm/PharmD/PharmD(PB) Regular and Supplementary Examinations of the University scheduled on September 27 have been postponed and the rescheduled date will be announced soon," in a circular the JNTUH Registrar Dr M Manzoor Hussain, he wrote
Andhra University will now be conducting the exam from October 1 to October 8 for all undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses. While the BTech and BArch exams will be held on October 6, MSc Applied Chemistry and MEd will be on October 1, and pharmacy on October 8, the University informed.
Admission to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, or JNTU Hyderabad, or JNTUH is currently underway and primarily entrance and merit-based. Andhra University application process 2021 for Master of Hospital Administration and PG diploma programmes in the fields of Gastroenterology Technology, Critical Care Technology and Emergency Medicine Technology is also open.
