DU Admissions 2020: Delhi University to hold open house before admissions begin from October 12
Delhi University will be conducting an open house before the beginning of the admissions on October 12.
Delhi University has announced that it will be conducting a round of open day before the college admissions begin. The open days were to be conducted only at the beginning of the registration process as a practice followed by the varsity. Since the DU Admissions 2020 is being conducted in online mode from October 12, 2020. The open day is thus being planned to be conducted on October 5.
During the session, the students will be welcome to ask all their queries related to the admission process, doubts on online admission, application etc. in the session. DU’s dean of admissions Shobha Bagai said the “ We would be having an open house before the beginning of the admissions on October 12.”
"The varsity was planning to conduct a webinar for the applicants to help them with the calculations of the cut-offs and percentage issues etc," she added.
Delhi University recently had released the schedule for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions on the basis of merit as well as entrance exams conducted. DU First Cut off List 2020 for admissions to merit-based UG programmes will be released by the varsity on October 12, 2020. The varsity will be releasing a total of five cut-off lists on its official website du.ac.in. All students will be given about two days to complete the admission process and would have added 2 days to complete the fees payment process.
As per the official schedule, the admission process in the colleges would be open from 10:00 am in the morning and would close at 5 pm in the evening. The dean has also informed that the students have been allowed to edit their application forms from September 12 and can continue to do so till October 5, 2020. The open house would be conducted after this process. It would be recorded and put on social media handles of the varsity and would function as a guide for other students.
