Overall, a good college. The campus is peaceful and the faculty members are good.
Placements: There are not very many offers from our college itself, but a lot of students are placed in good positions. Our college is basically known for its undergraduate courses and not professional courses. A few government-driven internships are offered depending on the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It keeps expanding and restructuring to accommodate all the facilities. There is Wi-Fi availability, a two-floor library, a medical room, 4-5 washrooms, and lots of green area. The canteen offers a variety of food that is affordable for all students. There are assigned areas for many sports too, and equipment is also available.
Faculty: The faculty members are absolutely knowledgeable. It's a 50-59 some classes are really fun and interactive, and some classes are just simple lectures. The curriculum is slightly hectic but doable. Exams are not of greater difficulty either. The passing percentage is really average.
Other: The fests are amazing, various small events are also held, like Diwali mela and department fests and other small events or conferences with known academic personalities. The scholarship scheme is favourable for students from poor backgrounds and is helpful. I chose Political Science as my B.A. hons, since I want to work in the line of a professor.

Very satisfied with the college.
Placements: There is no placement in my course B.A. Political Science (Hons). students. So I am not satisfied with this. There are placements for students who are pursuing B.Com and some other courses. Even in other courses that provide placements, there are societies, and they provide internships.
Infrastructure: There are proper facilities in the college, which are provided all over, including Wi-Fi, which is accessible in the whole college. There are 2 labs and nice classrooms some of the classrooms even have AC. The library is of 3 floors. In summers, there are proper facilities, and in winters, there is a proper heater. The canteen food is affordable and fresh.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and most of them have done a PhD and higher studies. Semester exams are easy and you can perform well if you concentrate on your studies, and even there are many other activities as well. Teachers are also very understanding if someone is facing serious problems, they consider the situation and are lenient.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in Political Science. Placement thing is not good, and there should be placements. There are so many events and there is an annual fest that happens every year. There are even scholarships provided to students who are economically weak.

Overall it's a nice college and the faculty of this college is good. You can go for it.
Placements: In terms of placement, we can say it is average around 10 to 20 students from my course got placements. The package is decent. I don't know as such about companies. An average number of students are doing internships from my course. Roles offered in my course are not at all higher posts, but it is decent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay. Wi-Fi is not working on campus. Some classrooms are very good, but others are not only a few classes have AC facility. Hostel is not provided by the college, canteen is decent, and food quality is good. Medical facilities, as such, I don't know. Sports and games are very nice in my opinion.
Faculty: Faculty in my course is good. They are helpful, well-educated, qualified and knowledgeable (except 2- 3). Their teaching quality is fabulous. The course curriculum is relevant. If you're well prepared, then the semester exams in this college are not so hard. 70 to 80 percent of the paper comes from PYQ.
Other: I have a lot of interest in Political Science that's why I chose this course. The best thing about my course is that it provides a broader perspective on how politics works, its relevance in the contemporary world, and how a country's relations affect foreign policy. Fests are decent.

B.A. (Hons.) in Journalism - Batch of 2027
Offered by Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi
3.8
3.0Placements3.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty4.0Crowd & Campus Life4.0Value for Money
One of the best for Journalism.
Placements: A decent number of students were placed in my course. The course is good and the faculty of journalism is amazing. The environment is pretty good too. As for the placement facility, it is average or sometimes dull. You need to find opportunities for yourself. Although the college does help, the work is mostly done by you.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is overall decent. A new building just got made, which has all the facilities. Wi-Fi is there. There are spacious classrooms. However, washrooms need to be cleaned. College does not provide hostel facilities. But you'll get plenty of PG accommodations nearby for girls. The surroundings are nice, as it is in the heart of South Delhi near Hauz Khas. Overall, it's decent and appreciable.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are just excellent for journalism. There are expert teachers in the field with great experience. However, there is a lack of practical sessions. But overall, the faculty and curriculum are good. For Journalism, Kamala Nehru College is one of the best.

An amiable and nurturing crowd and environment.
Placements: The placement cell of Daulat Ram College conducts several events regularly. Recruiters from various backgrounds are invited. Students get opportunities to explore several fields, including Economics, Commerce, and Humanities. As per my knowledge, the highest package is 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. There are visible cracks and faded walls in some areas. The campus needs better cleaning and maintenance. Certain ISPs do not work properly within the campus. The library is properly air-conditioned and provides students with a comfortable environment to study.
Faculty: Faculty is highly qualified and knowledgeable. However, the course curriculum feels a little less practical because of the teaching style used by some teachers. But they try their best to teach. There is a lack of connection with real-world situations. The semester exams are not very difficult and mainly test students' critical thinking skills and depth of understanding. Almost every student passes the exams.
Other: The Political Science course develops critical and analytical thinking skills. It is highly relevant to subjects like Economics, History, and Philosophy. However, I feel there is a need to make the course more case study-based, practical, and relevant to real-world situations.

Review of Kamala Nehru College.
Placements: Placements are mostly offered to students with a Commerce or Science background. I don't know much about the companies or the highest package offered. Students rarely get internships through the college, and many are unsure whether they will get a job after completing the course.
Infrastructure: There are some issues with the Wi-Fi. There are not enough chairs or benches in the classrooms. The classrooms should also be a little bigger to accommodate enough students. However, some construction is going on, so let's see how it goes. All other facilities are available.
Faculty: Professors are helpful, but there are some issues with the administration. They are rude and do not do their work properly. I feel the curriculum is outdated. I also feel the exams are not very difficult. It mostly depends on the attendance of students, which is not right.
Other: I chose this course because I like the subject and want to study it. Everything is good, but I feel the events are not managed very well.

Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Q:   How will I be allocated a seat at DU via the CSAS allocation (CUET UG counselling process)?
5thumbs up
A:

For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme's eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following points:

  • Course-Specific merit
  • Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
  • Seat Intake
  • Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by CSAS or University of Delhi
Q:   Why to choose Delhi University?
A:

Below are the reasons to choose Delhi University:

  • Delhi University, Delhi has been ranked 5th by the NIRF Ranking 2025 under the 'University' category.
  • The Delhi University placements 2026 are still ongoing. However, some colleges have released its placement details recorded in 2026. In the phase 1 of its placements SRCC placed 1,095 students.
  • As of now the the highest & average package offered during SRCC placements 2026 was INR 36.25 LPA & INR 13.79 LPA,  respectively.
  • DU has established strategic ties with universities across the globe, like the University of Leeds in the UK, etc.
Q:   Can I get admission in Delhi University BBA without CUET?
A:

University of Delhi BBA admission is through CUET exam. Candidates who meet course eligibility need to appear for this NTA exam to get a seat. There may not be any other provision for admission. Students who pass CUET need to register for DU CSAS for seat allotment. The complete process is carried out in online mode.
