The University of Delhi defined alternative ways to download question papers and upload answer sheets in case the dedicated method of uploading on the university’s exam portal fails.
Delhi University (DU), in a notification released on June 15, 2020, stated that candidates are allowed to submit answer sheets through email in case of emergencies. In the latest notification, the university clarified the procedures for attempting the open book examination (OBE) for first and second-year students of School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).
How to download DU Open Book Exam question paper and upload answer sheet?
In its latest notification, the University of Delhi defined alternative ways to download question papers and upload answer sheets in case the dedicated method of uploading on the university’s exam portal fails. The Varsity clarified that students are allowed to send the answer sheets via email to the respective exam boards if they are unable to do so through DU’s exam portal.
The official notification released by DU in this regards states, “If for any reason, the candidates are not able to upload the scanned images (PDF format) for their answer sheets on the portal after the completion of the examination, the same can be sent in PDF format at the designated email address of SOL and NCWEB as the case may be.”

DU Open Book Exams 2020 Question Paper Available Online
The university said that during the exams, the question papers will be available for all students on DU’s official website. In case the SOL students fail to download the question papers, they can access it through “their respective dashboard” and NCWEB students can access it through “email or Whatsapp upon request”, the university said.
The University also stated this clear that this method must only be used in case there is difficulty in downloading the question papers from the official website. For SOL students, in case of this emergency method, the question papers will only be available five minutes prior to the commencement of examinations
Despite being criticized by the teachers and students continuously, DU went ahead with its decision to conduct the open book exams. The outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by the imposition of the nationwide lockdowns in order to contain the virus spread forced universities to opt for alternate methods of examinations. Some universities even promoted students without conducting examinations.
Meanwhile, Delhi University (DU) is likely to start the registration process for DU Admissions 2020 on June 20, 2020. The varsity now decided not to conduct any group discussions and interviews this year for PG admissions 2020-21.
