DU to begin online application for hostel accommodation from tomorrow
The Delhi University (DU) has announced that it will open the registration window for application to avail hostel accommodation for the employees of the University.
The Delhi University (DU) has announced that it will open the registration window for application to avail hostel accommodation for the employees of the University. The online application window will open on the official website of the DU; i.e estate.du.ac.in. The application window will open on October 7 and continue until November 6. The University employees can also apply for the change of their hostels through this online portal. The hard copies of the online applications are also required to be sent to a designated address before November 16.
The hard copy of the online filled in application must be addressed to Estate Section, Room No 110 (FF), New Administration Block.
The varsity in a statement said that the employees who have earlier applied for availing hostel accommodation will also be required to apply afresh.
The university will prepare a list of priority candidates after receiving the applications. The priority list for hostel accommodation will remain valid until June 30, 2021.
The Delhi University has released the schedules for admissions to Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes which are being offered through the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). The first merit list for UG will be released online on the official website on October 19, 2020. The first PG merit list will be released on October 26, 2020. The Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) was successfully conducted from September 6, 2020, to September 11, 2020, on behalf of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Delhi University has announced that it will be conducting a round of open day before the college admissions begin. The open days were to be conducted only at the beginning of the registration process as a practice followed by the varsity. Since the DU Admissions 2020 is being conducted in online mode from October 12, 2020. The open day is thus being planned to be conducted on October 5.
