Gauhati University Admissions 2021: Gauhati University has decided to conduct the admission process for post-graduate courses strictly on the basis of MCQ following an offline parameter for the entrance examination for session 2021-22. Earlier, the admission committee that heads the Gauhati University admission procedures organized a meeting on July 15, wherein the decision was taken by the regulatory authorities to introduce the offline format for the entrance examination. The decision was taken to mitigate the solution in order to deal with the UGC guidelines for completing the entire admission process that has to be concluded by the earliest September 2021.

According to the reports, the criterion would consist of a Common Entrance Test for admission into the different disciplines of courses under the Deemed University for the upcoming session of 2021-2022. However, the Gauhati University made it clear that the admission procedure would be strictly based on evaluations that would include the overall performance. It will also consist of the eligibility criteria that the aspirants would need to fulfill in order to be able to clear the Entrance test.
