IP University Admissions 2023: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will close the online registration process for various courses today; i.e. May 15, 2023. "The online admission process for around 200 academic programmes for the 2023-24 academic session will be closing on May 15. This will be for all programmes, be it admissions for programmes that are based either on national-level tests, entrance tests conducted by the university or the merit-based programmes," university officials said.
The varsity further said that "admissions to various courses will be based on different entrance tests, including the varsity's own entrance test. Merit-based scores obtained by aspirants in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will also be considered as a second preference for some courses."
"Keeping in view, the CUET applicants are advised to apply for the common entrance tests (CET) of the university also for a better chance of admission," an official said. All the candidates who have not applied until now can do so by visiting the official website; i.e. ipu.admissions.nic.in.
The varsity had invited applications in December 2022, from the CUET-qualified candidates for filling up the leftover seats in a few programmes after exhausting the university entrance test merit list.
The courses included Bachelor in Business Administration and allied programmes, Bachelor of Commerce (H), Bachelor of Arts (H) English as well as economics and Bachelor of Computer Applications, among others.
On May 13, the varsity also held an admission fair to address all admission-related queries of applicants where a technical team resolved difficulties.
