Announcing the decision, IGNOU said, “Admit cards have been issued to 6,90,668 students who have applied and are found eligible for appearing in the Term End Examination.”

IGNOU December TEE 2020: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) decided to conduct the December term-end (TEE) examination from February 8 to March 13. According to the official notification released by IGNOU, as many as 6,90,668 students have registered to appear for the exam. A total of 837 examination centres including 104 centres for jail inmates and 19 overseas centres for international students are now established by the university. Announcing the decision, IGNOU said,“Admit cards have been issued to 6,90,668 students who have applied and are found eligible for appearing in the Term End Examination.” Students must note that IGNOU December TEE 2020 admit card is now available on the university’s official website, i.e. ignou.ac.in.

Stating that the students will be allowed in the examination hall even if they do not possess an admit card, the official release mentioned, “The exam centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in the examination, even if they do not possess the hall ticket (examination intimation slips), but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre.”

However, following the precautionary laid down by the health ministry, adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines, maintaining the social distancing and ensuring hygiene is mandatory in order to contain the COVID-19 spread. Meanwhile, students are also advised to carry a valid identity card issued by the university or government. Students appearing for IGNOU December TEE 2020 must note that they will be restricted from using mobile phones inside the examination hall.
