IIM Ahmedabad has once again been ranked as Best Management Institute in country by NIRF for 6th consecutive year.
Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has once again retained top spot in NIRF Rankings 2025 in the MBA category, for sixth consecutive year.
Speaking on this achievement, Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIMA, mentioned, “At IIMA, we remain committed to nurturing management leaders and innovators who can address the challenges of a rapidly changing world. NIRF Rankings ranks higher education institutions across the country under several categories, with 17 categories this year. NIRF Rankings is based on the following broad parameters: ‘Teaching, Learning and Resources’, ‘Research and Professional Practices’, ‘Graduation Outcomes’, ‘Outreach and Inclusivity’, and ‘Perception’.

CAT exam is held in about 170 cities across India. Candidates can choose up to six cities as their preferred test location. The list of test cities for CAT is available in application form. Candidates should choose the test city carefully as the request to change the test city later may or may not be accepted due to non-availability of seats at the centres in that particular city. CAT exam conducted only once a year in the month of November. It is conducted in three shifts on a single day.
IIM Ahmedabad PGPX is a full-time one-year course suitable for professionals with more than 4 years of work experience. It differs from flagship MBA (PGP) and blended MBA courses in its format and executive level focus. PGP is preferred by early-career professionals or recent graduates. In PGPX, there is a shift from basic to upper mangement leadership strategies and global business landscapes.
As per a statement issued by institute, since launch of the NIRF Rankings, IIMA has been placed at the top position in 2017, 2018, and then again from 2020 onwards.
