Kerala University UG Allotment 2020: Kerala University extended the registration for UG admission until August 25, 2020. Various media sources are reporting that it is expected that the release of the Kerala University UG first allotment result will now be delayed. The first allotment was to be announced on August 18 but now that the registration is extended and the latest updates suggest that the 1st allotment for Kerala University UG is expected to be out after August 25, 2020. Candidates can check the allotment result online at the official website, keralauniversity.ac.in. Candidates must know that the University publishes 3 allotment results. The allotment of the candidates to the various Programmes and Colleges is based on marks obtained at the Plus Two / Higher Secondary.
Kerala University is one of the top-ranked state universities in the Ministry of Human Resource Development's (MHRD) NIRF 2020 Ranking. The registration process of Kerala University Admissions 2020 was commenced on July 21 on its official website. The university runs a centralized allotment process for admission to UG courses in government, government-aided, self-financed colleges affiliated to the university. The trial allotment was also conducted by the varsity on August 12, 2020.
Candidates after getting the seat in the first allotment list need to complete the admission process by depositing the requisite application fee. Students can pay a fee or rearrange or delete higher options from August 18 to August 25. Earlier, the second allotment list was supposed to be conducted on August 24 followed by a fee payment window until September 4. However, with the delay it is expected that the delay in the allotment can occur.
According to the University of Kerala prospectus, all the Undergraduate courses except BPEd and BFA are known as first-degree programmes. Admission to these programmes is based on Online Centralised Allotment. The process will provide the candidates the opportunity of obtaining admission to any colleges or courses of choice. Seats will be allotted to students on the basis of merit of marks obtained in Class 12 Board Exams.
