Panjab University increases late admission fee of PG courses for Academic Year 2020-21
As per the shared details, the late fee with the permission of the college principal will be Rs 1,000 instead of the old Rs 540 and Rs 3,000 instead of Rs 2,640 in the last session with the permission of the VC.
Panjab University (PU) has hiked the late admission fee for Postgraduation courses by 100 per cent in cases of permission of the department chairperson and by 25 per cent in cases of permission of the Vice-Chancellor for the Academic Year 2020-21.
Panjab University has shared the details of the revised fee along with the academic calendar for the postgraduation courses with departments and colleges on September 29. As per the sources, the members of the fee committee had no idea about the fee hike as the proposal was not put during the meeting. The Vice-Chancellor gave permission without securing any syndicate approval, they said.

The Panjab University senior officials said that the college principals were inquiring from the authorities that when and how the proposal was tabled and got approval in the committee. The varsity also released the academic calendar was also issued for the post-graduate courses of arts, science, commerce and education affiliated colleges of PU.
Panjab University had earlier extended the last dates for submitting the admission form. According to the latest update provided on the official website, the last date to submit the online application forms is today; i.e. September 30. Students can submit admissions by visiting the official website of the university. Students must note that in order to apply for the PU CET 2020 examinations, students need to visit the official website of the university to complete the online application process. To apply, students are required to click on the registration link and complete the online registration process following which they will be able to fill and submit the online application forms for the admissions.
