SPPU or Pune University started conducting the Mock Tests via online mode from December 3. Students must note that Mock Test links are now available on sps.unipune.in.

SPPU Backlog Exams 2020: Savitribai Phule Pune University, SPPU decided to conduct the backlog and improvement examinations from December 8, 2020. Earlier, it was suggested to begin the examination on December 3. However, SPPU or Pune University started conducting the Mock Tests via online mode from December 3. Students must note that Mock Test links are now available on sps.unipune.in. SPPU also released guidelines and notification regarding the backlog and improvement examination on November 28 on the official website.

SPPU, Pune University Backlog Exam 2020 - Important Guidelines

Students who are supposed to appear for the SPPU backlog exams must go through the important guidelines issued by the University listed below:

  1. Backlog exams for students of the First to Final year would be conducted in online mode from December 8 to December 23, 2020. The students who wish to appear for improvement of their marks in a particular subject can also appear for the Performance Improvement Examination, which would be conducted along with Backlog Exams
  2. The examination would be in an MCQ format of 1-hour duration. There would be 60 questions out of which, 50 correct answers would be considered for marking. Also, 40% of the questions would be easy, 40% moderate, and the remaining would be tough.
  3. Students can check the timetable for SPPU Backlog Examination 2020 on the University website.
  4. Students will be apprised via sms and/or email, provided the students have registered the same with the University Student portal – SPS.
  5. In the case of interruptions in the examination due to a break in the line and technical difficulties, extra time will be given. Also, students with disabilities would be given additional 20 minutes to attempt the examination.
  6. The University has already shared the syllabus for the examination in the circular dates November 26, 2020. Also, please note, no photocopies or re-evaluation facility will be made available on this MCQ-based exam.
  7. All those who have registered for the examination are advised to log on to sps.unipune.ac.in to register their concerns before the examination and to attempt the mock tests in order to understand the process.
