TNAU Admissions 2021: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is all set to begin the undergraduate admission process for the academic year 2021-22 from tomorrow; i.e. September 8, 2021. The online registration will begin for TNAU UG Admission 2021-22 on the official website of the University; tnauonline.in or tnau.ac.in. The Agricultural College and Research Institute and the Horticulture College and Research Institute, both based in Coimbatore, from this year onwards, will also offer programs in Tamil. 

The TANU has also added a list of colleges as constituent colleges of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University as announced by the Tamil Nadu government. Under this are the Horticulture College at Jeenur and newly commenced three agricultural colleges in Karur, Keezhvelur and Chettinad. The colleges offer various courses in Agricultural Science and Technology. This includes BSc Hons programs in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Sericulture, Food, Nutrition and Dietetics and Agriculture Business Management. The university also offers BTech programs in Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology and Energy and Environmental Engineering.

Aspiring candidates must note that to be eligible for TNAU UG Admission 2021 they must have cleared 10+2 from the recognized board. Admission will be given to only those candidates who are from Tamil Nadu. However, those who have studies Class 10th, 11th and 12th in the state are also eligible. Such candidates have to produce proof of having studied in class 10th, 11th and 12th in Tamil Nadu.

Candidates must note that the application fee for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates is Rs 300 while for general, Other Backward Castes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) are Rs 600.
