CEED Registration Last Date
CEED 2027 Registration: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will close registration for Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2027 today on November 5, 2026. Candidates interested in appearing for entrance exam must submit CEED 2027 application form by 11:59 PM to avoid paying late registration fee.
Earlier, CEED registration deadline was extended from October 31 to November 5, 2026. Candidates who have not completed CEED 2027 application can visit official website ceed.iitb.ac.in, and submit their forms before deadline. CEED application portal will remain open for candidates who wish to register with a late fee until November 10, 2026, at 5 PM.
IIT Bombay conducts CEED for admission to Master of Design (M.Des.) and PhD programmes at participating institutes. Candidates are advised to complete the registration and fee payment process within prescribed deadline.

CEED 2027 Registration: Late Fee Details
Candidates who miss November 5 deadline can still submit CEED 2027 application form during late registration window. IIT Bombay will accept applications with an additional late fee of INR 500 until November 10, 2026, at 5 PM. Late fee will be charged in addition to the applicable registration fee.

CEED 2027 Exam Date and Pattern

Sketching part of CEED will include representation in the form of geometric figures like lines, squares, and triangles, outline drawing, detailing, and shading. Practice outline drawing, representation, detailing and shading. Also work on shapes, proportion, line quality.
CEED 2027 registration form must be submitted online only through the official website. The registration fee is given below.
- 2000 for all women candidates
- 2000 for (SC/ST/PwD) candidates
- 4000 for all other candidates
This registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Since CEED is a general aptitude test, you can benefit greatly by practicing previous year question papers. Also, after practicing the papers, it is highly important to analyse your strong and weak areas for the exam and then work on them accordingly.
But that being said, you can’t prepare for the CEED only on the strength of solving the sample papers. You need to read the text books to learn the concepts, understand the various dynamic. Note that unless your theoretical knowledge is sound, you won’t be able to feel truly confident.
IIT Bombay will conduct CEED 2027 on January 17, 2027, from 9 AM to 12 noon. The examination will consist of two parts, Part A and Part B, and candidates must attempt both sections. CEED 2027 admit card will be available for download from January 1, 2027.
