NID will soon start the NID DAT registration for UG and PG programmes. The NID DAT 2026 registration will begin on the website. NID DAT 2026 registration process is the first step for aspirants seeking admission to the B.Des and M.Des programmes offered at the National Institute of Design.

Candidates will need to complete the registration, upload documents, and pay the application fee before the deadline once the NID Application portal opens. The detailed information brochure/handbook for B.Des and M.Des is also expected to be released with the application form, providing key dates, eligibility, and exam guidelines.

Process of NID Application 2026

The process to fill out the NID application form 2026 is given below.

1. Registration: Click on the registration link given above. Select the program of study, and then fill in details like your name, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, etc. 
2. Log in to fill out the form: You can log in to the account using your email ID and date of birth. Fill in all the required fields in the application form, including educational qualifications, contact details, and personal information. 
3. Upload documents: Upload copies (scanned) of your signature, photograph, and category documents as per the specified format. 
4. Pay the application fee: Pay the application fee to complete the NID DAT registration.
