NID has made an amendment in the section, Window to edit the Application Form. The amendment was made on October 27, 2026. Read on to know more details.
National Institute of Design has made an amendment regarding "Window to edit the Application Form". Candidates are requested to refer to the Amendment Section of the NID DAT B.Des and M.Des Admissions Handbook 2026-27. The Window to edit the application form will open for B.Des and M.Des on December 02, 2025 till December 04, 2025.
- As per the amendment, candidates can modify the details filled in the application form, except the Program Applied, Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number & Registered Email ID when the Window to Edit Application Form' opens.
- Candidates will have to pay fees applicable in addition to the application fees if the candidate changes his/her applied category or gender during the "Window to Edit Application Form" period. However, no refund of excess fees will be made in the case of any category or gender change.
- No requests for change in category or gender (after the "Window to Edit the Application Form" closes) will be allowed during the subsequent stages of the admissions process.
Candidates are requested to read the Admission Handbook given on the official portal.
The NID DAT 2025 application submission last date is December 6, 2024.

While filling out the NID application form, candidates have to enter their personal, academic, and personal information. They are also required to upload a photograph and signature, and caste Certificate if applicable. In case of candidates seeking admission under reserved categories, they also need to upload a category Certificate. PwD category candidates will also have to upload the relevant Certificate.
The category and PwD certificates should be in PDF format and max 2 MB.
Meanwhile, the photograph and signature should in JPG/JPEG format and within 75-100 KB.
