The UCEED 2026 Information Brochure has been updated. Version 1.1. The updated brochure is released now, on October 08, 2025 and includes important revisions to the eligibility criteria.

Changes in the Eligibility Criterion-3 (Section 7, Page 18)
The following statement has been removed from the brochure:
"Candidates who have been allotted a B. Des. seat in any of the participating Institutes, and have NOT withdrawn from the admission process by the end of the withdrawal schedule after Round IV, are not eligible to appear for UCEED 2026 even if they are left with an option of second attempt." -
Clarification on Qualifying Examination Requirements:
Guidelines related to the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) have been stated more clearly to avoid confusion.
Candidates are advised to refer to Version 1.1 of the brochure for the most accurate and updated information regarding eligibility and examination criteria. The revised brochure is available on the official UCEED website: https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in
The important dates of UCEED 2026 cover events like the commencement and deadline to fill out the UCEED application, admit card release and exam date, result date, and seat allotment schedule. This means the important dates will cover all the events starting from the release of admission notification to the completion of the admission process. The candidate can keep track of upcoming events by consulting the important dates.
The important dates for UCEED 2026 have been released by IIT Bombay. IIT Bombay has the authority to change a pre-announced date; so candidates need to stay updated by visiting this space.

The admission cut-off for UCEED 2026 will be released in last week of April, 2026.
The seat allotment will be released online at the UCEED 2026- IIT Bombay admission portal uceed.iitb.ac.in.
To download the seat allotment-cum-cutoff, you need to click on the seat allotment download button given under B. Des 1st Round of Seat Allotment heading. Note that no log-in is required to download the seat allotment results pdf.
Candidates who are allotted seats have to accept the seat and pay the fees. Note that candidates were also given the option to withdraw their seats.
