AP EAMCET 2026 Round 3 seat allotment delayed by APSCHE, moving from September 16 to September 17, and stretching into September 18. The delay can be attributed to technical snags and complex evaluation data verification. This has left students with less than 48 hours to complete college reporting, as the last date is Sept 19.

Many engineering aspirants across AP are on edge as taking admission as the final phase of AP EAMCET 2026 counselling is nearing its end. However, the final phase seat allotment has faced back-to-back delays. Initially scheduled for Sept 16, the release has been delayed. Students are advised to keep their credentials handy and use only official channels as well as shiksha.com for latest updates.

Why is the AP EAMCET Round 3 Seat Allotment 2026 Delayed?

Why is the AP EAMCET Round 3 Seat Allotment 2026 Delayed?

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has delayed the release of AP EAMCET 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result. This delay has caused anxiety among thousands of engineering stream (MPC) aspirants.Β

The AP EAMCET round 3 seat allotment was originally slated for release on September 16, 2026, however, APSCHE pushed it to September 17. However, as of September 18, there is still no update. We can only assume that the technical teams might be working to resolve the backend infrastructure bottlenecks or might release the MPC and BiPC round 3 seat allotment together.

What can possibly be the delay in the AP EAMCET Round 3 Seat Allotment?

As per sources, the reason behind the delay might be a combination of server-side technical snags or extended web option evaluation timelines. The integration of seat matrix data from late-registering institutions, multi-layered verification of student categories, seem to have strained the automated allotment script on AP Common Admissions Portal (AP CAP).

Furthermore, compiling choice-filling entries which closed on September 13 required cross-matching with individual merit ranks. This was to be done to prevent cross-allocation errors in the final regular counselling phase.

What impact will this delay of AP EAMCET Round 3 Seat Allotment will have on students?

Aspirants now face an incredibly tight window for admissions. The delay has consumed reporting days, leaving students with less than 48 hours to complete critical formalities. Once the link goes live, candidates must immediately:

  1. Download seat allotment letters.

  2. Complete online self-reporting.

  3. Pay administrative and tuition fees online.

  4. Travel and physically report to their allotted colleges to secure admission.
