BITSAT 2021 has been postponed by the BITS Pilani due to the current pandemic situation. The application last date has also been extended by the institute. Read below to know the details.

BITSAT 2021: Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has postponed BITSAT 2021 considering the current pandemic situation. The exam that was earlier scheduled to be conducted from June 24 to 29 is now likely to be held in July-August. Along with this, the last date to submit the BITSAT 2021 application form has also been extended.

As per the information available on the website, “BITSAT-2021 online tests (earlier scheduled during June 24-29, 2021) stand postponed. BITSAT-2021 tests are likely to be conducted during July-August 2021. The exact schedule will be announced through the website sometime during June 2021.”

As per the new date announced by the institute, aspirants can now submit their BITSAT application forms (online only) up to 5 pm on June 30 on the official website, bitsadmission.com. The application fee for male candidates is Rs 3,400 and for female candidates, it is Rs 2,900. For students who want to appear for the exam in Dubai, irrespective of gender, the application fee is Rs 7,000.

BITSAT is conducted by the BITS Pilani every year for admission to BE and integrated first degree programmes offered by BITS, Pilani, and its campuses located at Goa and Hyderabad.

Candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and should have adequate proficiency in English for admission to the BPharm programme offered by the institute. However, candidates with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) can also apply.

The exam will be held for three hours with questions from Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics or Biology (for BPharm candidates) as per the prescribed BITSAT 2021 syllabus.
