Students Face Trouble at BITSAT 2026 Centres After Date, Shift Changes

Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani is conducting the BITSAT session 1 exam. The authorities have already concluded day 1 of the test, while day 2 is set to begin tomorrow. This year, the session 1 exam is only scheduled for 2 days.

While the exam day experience was smooth for most candidates, a few students reportedly faced an unexpected issue. Students reported to the exam centre as per the exam date and time mentioned on their admit cards; however, they were asked to return back since their names were not listed for the test.

LIVE: BITSAT 2026 April 15 Exam

The reason behind this confusion and stress at exam centres was due to the revised BITSAT admit card 2026. On April 10, the authorities issued the BITSAT admit card 2026; it was withdrawn, and the revised BITSAT hall tickets were released on April 11. Students were advised to download their updated admit cards. The confusion started as the authorities did not issue any official intimation about downloading their revised hall tickets.

Thus, several candidates reached their exam centres as per their old schedule. However, at the centre, they were informed that their exam had already been rescheduled to a different date or shift. This created panic among students and parents. Students who did not check their email or did not download the revised hall ticket were not aware of these updates.

Candidates had to return home disappointed after reaching the centre. Parents also raise concerns about the lack of clear communication. They said that students should have been informed more clearly about the changes.

  • Students appearing for upcoming shifts should now download the revised BITSAT 2026 admit card, check their exam date, time, and centre details and report accordingly.
