CBSE Class 12th Date Sheet 2027 Out; Here's How You Can Balance Both JEE Mains & Board Exams
CBSE class 12 date sheet 2027 is out. JEE Main aspirants should now focus on how to balance board exams, revise PCM subjects and prepare for both sessions of the national-level engineering entrance test.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the class 12 board exam date sheet 2027. This allows engineering aspirants a clear timeline to plan their preparation for JEE Main 2027. Students appearing for both exams should now balance their board exams with JEE Main 2027 exam preparation. The CBSE class 12 board examinations will begin on February 16 and continue until April 9, 2027. Meanwhile, National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct JEE Main 2027 session 1 from January 20 to 28 on selected dates, while session 2 is scheduled from April 2 to 7.
JEE Main 2027: How to Prepare Alongside CBSE Board Exams?
With the examination schedules now announced, students should now prepare a subject-wise study plan to ace both exams.
- Complete JEE Main revision before Session 1: Students should aim to complete their syllabus revision before the January examination. They should focus on important concepts, formulas, previous years’ questions and mock tests. Analysing mistakes after every mock test can also help improve accuracy.
- Use NCERT textbooks for both examinations: NCERT books are important for CBSE board preparation and particularly useful for JEE Main Chemistry. Students should understand textbook concepts thoroughly while also practising application-based questions for the entrance examination.
- Follow the CBSE subject-wise timetable: After JEE Main Session 1, students should give more time to board preparation. They should prioritise subjects according to their examination dates and practise previous years’ board papers, derivations and numerical questions.
- Continue JEE preparation during board exams: Students appearing for Session 2 should not completely stop entrance exam preparation. They can revise formulas, practise selected questions and review mock tests for short durations alongside board studies.
- Focus on time management: Students should avoid studying for long hours without breaks. A realistic timetable with dedicated slots for revision, question practice and rest can help them maintain consistency.
