COAP 2020: IIT Madras releases Round-1 seat allotment results

COAP 2020 Seat Allotment: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has released the COAP 2020 round-1 seat allotment result. Students who participated in the round -1 can check their seat allotment status online from the official website: coap.iitm.ac.in up to June 11.
All the students who have participated in the round-1 of GATE COAP 2020 seat allotment are required to choose any of the three options (Accept & Freeze, Retain & Wait, and Reject & Wait) up to June 11. IIT Mandi that did not participate in the first round will be a part of the seat allotment process from round-2. As per the COAP 2020 dates, the next round of seat allotment result will announce on June 17.
Candidates who accept the seat will only be allowed to proceed with the further admission process. It includes a login to the admitted institute portal, payment of fees and online submission of documents. All these procedures of admission have to be completed within the dates specified in the seat allotment letter.
Students who do not want to accept the allotted seat have two options to participate in further rounds of counselling. All such candidates can choose ‘Retain & Wait’ or ‘Reject & Wait’. There will be a total of five rounds in COAP 2020 counselling with additional four rounds (round A, B, C and D). Registration for COAP 2020 is going on and eligible candidates can register online to participate in the further seat allotment rounds.
COAP is the common portal of 21 IITs and IISc Bangalore to enlist the admission status of students in PG engineering courses. Only GATE qualified candidates with a valid score can participate in GATE COAP 2020 counselling.
