COMEDK 2026 Counselling: Round 1 Decision Making & Fee Payment Deadline Extended Till 5 PM Today

COMEDK UGET 2026 Decision Making & Seat Allotment Deadline Extended

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is conducting the COMEDK 2026 counselling for round 1. The seat allotment result was announced on July 28. Following this, the authorities opened the portal for downloading the COMEDK seat allotment letters and for decision making. The authorities activated the decision making and fee payment link inside the candidate login portal at comedk.org. The authorities have now extended the COMEDK UGET seat acceptance window till 5 PM today. Earlier, the deadline for decision making and fee payment was 3 PM.

Students who have been allotted a seat in this round can choose one of four options: Accept & Freeze; Accept & Upgrade; Reject & Upgrade; Reject & Withdraw. Based on their decision candidates have to pay the required fee online.

How to Check COMEDK 2026 Seat Allotment?

• Login to the COMEDK candidate portal using your user ID and password.
• Click on 'Decision Making' Tab to view your Round 1 Allotment result.
• Click on 'Click here to view allotted seat' to view your round 1 allotment.

Who Has to Pay Fee?

Candidates who choose to 'Accept & Freeze' or 'Accept & Upgrade' or 'Reject & Upgrade' have to pay the total college fee to participate in the counselling process. In case of ‘Accept and Upgrade’ or ’Reject and Upgrade’ candidates, the total fee paid at time of decision making, will be adjusted to the total fee applicable for the college and course allotted during subsequent round/s as mentioned below:

a) Should there be an increase in total fee payable at time of decision making in subsequent round: the extra fees will have to be paid by the candidate at the time of his/her decision making

b) Should there be a decrease in total fee payable at time of decision making in subsequent round: the excess fees will be refunded by COMEDK 15 days after completion of the entire counselling process.
