COMEDK 2026 vs TS EAMCET Exam Date Clash: Here's How Can You Appear for Both
Engineering aspirants are caught in an exam clash yet again as the COMEDK and TS EAMCET dates coincide on May 9. If you are facing a similar clash and are left deciding on which exam to appear for, then here's what you can do.
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will conduct COMEDK UGET 2026 on May 9 in three different shifts. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) will hold the TS EAMCET 2026 for engineering between May 9 and 11. The TS EAMCET admit cards are already out and several candidates have reported that their dates clash with COMEDK. Students are now wondering whether there is a way to avoid this clash, or if they will have to skip appearing for one of these. There is a way for candidates to appear in both these exams.
How to Avoid COMEDK and TS EAMCET 2026 Clash?
Since COMEDK 2026 is scheduled to be held on a single day and given that there is no slot booking facility, students have no other option but to appear as per the exam timings mentioned on their admit cards. The COMEDK exam date and time will be mentioned the COMEDK 2026 admit card, which will be released on April 29.
However, TS EAMCET is being conducted over multiple days and sessions. This means that the exam authorities can make adjustments to accommodate some students. Students who are facing a clash must immediately contact the TS EAMCET authorities on their helpdesk and highlight their situation. In the mail, you must attach your TS EAMCET hall ticket along with proof of COMEDK registration/ admit card (when available) to request a change of exam slot or date.
Since there is very little time before the exam, candidates must not delay in contacting the authorities. Officials are more likely to consider genuine cases if proper information is provided in due time.
