DASA 2026 Counselling Schedule Announced; Registration to Start on July 28
DASA 2026 counselling dates has been announced by the JEE Apex board. DAS Registration 2026 will start on July 28. There will be two rounds of seat allotment. All eligible candidates interested to participate in DASA 2026 counselling must register by August 3.
The JEE Apex board has announced the schedule for DASA UG counselling 2026. As per the dates available in the DASA official website, registration for the counselling will start on July 28. The last date to register is August 3, 2026.
All eligible candidates willing to participate in DASA seat allotment processes are required to login to DASA 2026 Seat Allocation portal using their JEE Main 2026 Application Number and Password. After login, the candidate have to complete registration, pay DASA Enrolment Fee (DEF), upload required documents and fill choices of colleges and courses.
The seat allotment will be done in two rounds basis the choices filled by the candidates and the All India Rank of candidates in JEE Main 2026.

For the upcoming admission session 2025, candidates are required to fill an online application form on the online admission portal of DASA. To apply for the DASA UG counselling process, candidates can follow the step mentioned below:
- The candidates eligible for DASA counselling have to register to be able to participate in the admission process. The DASA counselling registration process is given below:
- To register, the candidate needs to enter the JEE Main 2025 application number and Date of Birth. A web link will be mailed to complete the registration process on the email ID registered with JEE Main. The application number of JEE Mains will be your username.
- In the registration form, candidates have to fill in the required details. Applicants are required to upload the following:
- the latest passport size photograph in JPG format (size ~ 3.5cmx3.5cm, file size < 100kB).
- Scanned signature of applicant in JPG format (file size<100 kB).
- Submit the completed DASA application form. The submitted online registration form should be downloaded and saved for their records. However, there is no need to send the hard copy of the form and documents to the DASA office.

National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs), a few other technical Institutes offer academic programs for Foreign Nationals / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) / Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) under Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme of Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India for which the admission is on the basis of JEE (Main) 2026.
Candidates interested in admission through DASA must have a valid JEE Main 2026 rank of Paper 1 for BE/BTech programs. For admission BArch and BPlan programs, the score of Paper 2a an 2b is required. In addition to JEE Main, candidates must satisfy the minimum percentage requirement in Class 12 as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
