The registration process for Direct Admission for Students Abroad (DASA) 2026 will start on July 28. Students who are Foreign Nationals, NRIs, OCIs / PIOs are eligible for admission to 15% supernumerary seats in engineering, architecture and planning seats at NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, GFTIs and other technical institutes of the country. DASA UG 2026 Registration Live Updates: The Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur will start the DASA registration 2026 tomorrow, July 28. The DASA application form 2026 will be available online in the website csab.nic.in. Candidates can apply for DASA 2026 by filling the online application form. Candidates will also need to pay DASA enrollment fee (DEF) at the time of filling form which include USD 300 as registration fee and first semester tution fee of the institute. The last date for DASA UG 2026 registration is August 3, 2026.

DASA 2026 Eligibility Criteria

It is very important for every candidate to check the DASA eligibility criteria before they fill the application form.

• DASA is open only for Foreign Nationals, NRIs, OCIs / PIOs
• All candidates must have a valid JEE Main 2026 score/rank
• Candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2001
• Candidate must have secured minimum 75% marks in class 12

How to Apply for DASA 2026?

• Open DASA 2026 official website - csab.nic.in
• Click on DASA 2026 Registration link
• Register by providing JEE Main 2026 application number and password
• After registration, fill the detailed form by all providing all required information
• Upload scanned image of passport, photo, signature, class 10 and 12 marksheet
• Pay DASA enrollment fees

The application process will complete after successful payment of fees. Candidates must download and retain a copy of filled form for future reference.

DASA 2026 Choice Filling

The facility to fill choices will be available after documents verification. All documents uploaded by the candidates will be verified online post which the candidates can proceed to fill preference of colleges and courses. The last date for choice filling is August 3, 2026.
