GATE 2024: The Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), Bangalore will be conducting GATE 2024 from February 3, 4, 10 and 11. The exam will be held as a Computer Based Test in two sessions. This year, the officials have added a new GATE 2024 paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA). The GATE admit card for the PG engineering entrance exam has alsready been released.
Candidates can download it from the official website: gate2024.iisc.ac.in to know GATE exam date and time. GATE 2024 is held for admission to MTech and direct PhD admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other institutes/universities across India. GATE Exam Day Guidelines 2024
Candidates can check important exam day guidelines before appearing for GATE 2024:
- They must download GATE 2024 admit card before the exam, take a color print-out, and keep a saved copy as well
- They must be aware of GATE exam centre. As it will enable them to have a good idea of the distance to travel and minimize the chances of getting lost on exam day
- Carry any one original ID card along with GATE 2024 admit card for verification at exam hall
- Do not carry mobile phones, calculators or any electronic gadgets
- They must reach the GATE 2024 exam centre at least an hour earlier
- As per GATE exam instructions, candidates can log in 20 minutes before the exam starts, to read the necessary instructions. However, they will not be allowed to start answering till the specified time
GATE 2024 Videos by IISc, Bangalore
Before the exam starts, this time IISc Bangalore has released two videos on mental health for the aspirants. The videos are of one-and-a-half minute short videos, shot at the IISc campus that shows students exercising, playing cricket, reading books or taking a walk. The video also includes motivational lines like ‘result is not the end’. Candidates appearing for GATE 2024 can check these videos.
