GATE 2026 application form correction window last date is now extended till November 10. Candidates who have registered for GATE 2026 this year can log in to the account and edit their details within the deadline. The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, will be conducting the GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. 

How to edit GATE 2026 Registration Form?

Candidates can edit their GATE 2026 application form in the following way -

• Visit the GATE 2026 official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in
• Click on the application form link and log in using enrollment ID and password
• Click on “edit data”
• Select the particular/data you want to edit
• Enter the revised information and pay the fees
• Submit the GATE 2026 exam form and download

Details that can be edited in the GATE Correction Window 2026

Candidates can make changes in the following during the GATE 2026 form correction phase -

• Name
• Date of birth
• Exam cities
• Existing paper (primary paper)
• Change of gender to female
• Change of gender from female to any other gender
• Category of SC/ST
• Change of category from SC/ST to any other category
• Change from non-PwD/Dyslexic to PwD/Dyslexic
• Any other change in category
• Personal details
• Qualifying degree details

GATE 2026 Application Form Correction Fees

To make any change in the GATE 2026 exam form, applicants have to pay a fee through netbanking/credit card/debit card or UPI. 

Candidates who have filled the GATE application form 2026 will be able to download the GATE 2026 hall ticket on January 2. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts.
