GATE COAP 2020 counselling rounds postponed

GATE COAP 2020 counselling: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has postponed the GATE COAP 2020 counselling round-4 and round-5. The two rounds will be conducted on July 7- 8 and July 15-16 respectively.

Along with the main rounds, additional rounds (Round-A, B, C and D) also postponed. Round-A will be conducted on July 22-23, Round-B on July 29-30, Round-C on August 5-6 and Round-D on August 12-13 as per the information available on the official website of the COAP.

This is the third time that the dates of GATE COAP 2020 counselling rounds have been postponed by the IIT Madras. As per the official website, the Round-4 offers will be released on July 7, 2020 at 10 am and students will be allowed to accept the offers till July 8 (11:55 pm).

Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) provides a common platform for the registered candidates to make the most preferred choice for admission into an MTech Programme in the participating Institutes or job offer from participating Public Sector Units (PSU's).

Candidates must note that the COAP is only for seat allotment process. For admission, candidates have to apply to the respective institute’s website. Applying on COAP or seat allotment through it do not guarantee the admission of students to an institute.
