Indira Gandi National Open University has started its online re-registration process for July 2020 session through Samarth portal.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has initiated its online re-registration process for July 2020 session through Samarth portal. Candidates can register for the session online on or before June 30.
The Samarth portal can be accessed through the official website of IGNOU or can directly visit www.ignou.samarth.edu.in.
The old link www.onlinerr.ignou.ac.in has also mentioned the link of the new portal so that students can access them through the old link. By visiting the old portal, the candidates will be redirected to the new portal.
The new portal has been designed to provide Single- Window to all the student life cycle related services which will be made available in a phased manner apart from the re-registration to the students. The services through the student portal would include change of address, study center, courses, regional center, exam form submission, etc. The students shall submit such requests through their login.
IGNOU July 2020 Re-Registration
The re-registration process at IGNOU is entirely online. In order to register for the consecutive year of their opted courses, the students need to create a new user account on the new port. Students would have to compulsorily create a new account even if they had an account in the old portal. With this, the students will get access to all the services through Single Sign-On. Only those students will be able to submit their re-registration form, who are eligible. Re-registration means registering for next year/semester of a programme you are already enrolled in. In case you face any issue with re-registration, please inform the concerned Regional Center.
Out of the 49 Programs under which re-registration is to be done in July 2020, 35 are available on the portal as of now. Configuration of the remaining programmes is still going on, and the university shall keep updating the status on the portal.
For further details candidates may visit official university website @ www.ignou.ac.in.
