Applications for Kishoreย Vaigyanikย Protsahanย Yojana (KVPY), State and Central Board (SCB) are over and seats through these channels will be allotted tentatively from October 25, 2021.

Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) will start the registration process for admission to undergraduate courses through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 channel tomorrow, October 20, 2021. Eligible candidates can apply at iiseradmission.in. The IISERs at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati offer Bachelor of Science-Master of Science (BS-MS) dual degree programmes at undergraduate level. As per the institutesโ€™ website, the application portal for those appearing through the IIT-JEE channel will open on October 20, 2021 (tentatively).ย ย 

One can get admission to BS-MS dual degreeย programmesย at IISERs through three ways โ€“ Kishoreย Vaigyanikย Protsahanย Yojana (KVPY), State and Central Board (SCB) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced.ย 

For the KVPY channel, students need to clear the KVPY aptitude test and for the SCB channel, candidates need to clear the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT).ย 

As the IAT exam is over, authorities have released final answer keys and candidatesโ€™ response sheets on the official website. As per the IISER website, all questions asked in the exam were correct, except for one question โ€“ question ID 603209398. All candidates, regardless of attempting or not attempting that question, will get full marks for that question.ย Applications for KVPY and SCB channels are over and seats through these channels will be allotted tentatively from October 25, 2021.ย
