IIST registration 2020 is now open on the official website of the institute, i.e. iist.ac.in. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply by filling the IIST online application from the official website.

IIST Admission 2020: Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) released the online application form for BTech admission 2020-21 at IIST official website. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply by filling the IIST online application from the official website. Students must note that the selection of candidates will be on the basis of the IIST rank list formulated on the JEE Advanced 2020 score.

IIST Admission Registration 2020

For IIST registration 2020, candidates are required to use their JEE Advanced 2020 roll number. While filling the IIST online application, candidates must upload the same photo which they used while filling the JEE Advanced application form. Candidates also need to have their JEE Advanced admit card for filling the IIST B.Tech application form. All the IIST B.Tech application form 2020 must be submitted on or before the last date, i.e. October 7.

IIST offers BTech programs in two disciplines - Electronics and Communication Engineering (Avionics) and Aerospace Engineering. The institute also offers a dual degree program (BTech-MTech/MS) with BTech in Engineering Physics and MTech in Earth System Science/Optical Engineering or MS in Astronomy and Astrophysics/Solid State Physics. Candidates applying for admission must check the IIST eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

IIST Admission 2020: Selection Process

Students must note that the IIST Admission in BTech programs is only on the basis of the JEE Advanced examination. Candidates aspiring to take admission to IIST need to have a valid score in JEE Advanced 2020 exam in order to be considered for seat allotment. After filling the IIST application form 2020, Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their score in JEE Advanced and a merit list of all registered students will be announced. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of the merit list.
