IIT Bombay invites applications from foreign students for MTech, PhD courses
Interested candidates can apply for MTech and PhD courses in any department by March 31, 2023.
Candidates can also apply for scholarship schemes such as ICCR scholarship; Study in India (SII); Doctoral-fellowship in India for ASEAN and PhD programme under Institute Foreign Teaching Assistantship (TA) category. Candidates willing to apply under the scholarship/fellowship programme are required to apply on both IIT Bombay portal and the scholarship/fellowship portal concerned.
How to apply for IITB MTech, PhD programmes
Foreign candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for any MTech or PhD course at IIT Bombay.
- Visit the following link, https://portal.iitb.ac.in/asc/Login
- Login using "IITB External User Registration Portal" email id and password
- Fill in personal details
- Upload documents
- Submit form
Documents required during application
While applying, candidates need to upload the following documents such as photo, signature, copy of the grade transcripts with the explanation of the assigned grades, statement of purpose, bio-data, financial undertaking, a copy of the student's bank statement showing required balance, personal particulars of foreign scholars coming to India, three recommendation letters - at least one recommendation should be about the student's academic performance issued by a faculty member, documentary proof to illustrate fluency in English language and copy of the passport.
