IIT Delhi startup to distribute wearable air purifiers among 50,000 schoolkids
The IIT Delhi team visited six schools to kickstart the 'DelhiBreathes' drive today. The aim is to educate students on adopting preventive measures against air pollution.
An Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi startup Nanoclean Global has collaborated with Allen Career Institute to distribute Naso95, a wearable air purifier among more than 50,000 school students in Delhi under its 'DelhiBreathes' initiative.
According to the start-up, Naso95 is an N95 grade nasal filter. It sticks to the user's nasal orifice and prevents bacteria, viral infection and pollen and air pollution. It is on par effective with an N95 grade face mask.
Under the 'DelhiBreathes' initiative, students in Delhi schools will be given necessary information about air pollution. As part of the drive, students in more than 50 schools will be given Naso95 air purifiers free of cost. The aim is to educate students on adopting preventive measures against air pollution. The IIT Delhi team visited six schools to kickstart the 'DelhiBreathes' drive today. The schools that the team visited are Joseph and Marry Public School, Burari, New Delhi; DLDAV Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi; ITBP, Dwarka, New Delhi; Arwachin Bharti Bhawan School, Vivek Vihar, New Delhi; Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, and Bal Bharti, Noida.
