IIT Guwahati Admissions to MTech in Robotics & AI

IIT Guwahati MTech Admission 2026: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has introduced MTech degree programme in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for recent graduates and working professionals. IIT Guwahati MTech application portal for first cohort is now open. Candidates can apply online bu visiting official website iitg.ac.in. Last date to apply for IIT Guwahati MTech is July 15. 

It must be noted that for admission to IIT GATE Mtech in Robotics & AI, no GATE score is needed. Candidates have to appear for written test and interview conducted by Institute. Offered by School of Interdisciplinary Studies and Sustainability, this programme will be hybrid with online classes and on-campus labs and final examinations at campus.

Who are eligible for IIT Guwahati Admissions to MTech in Robotics & AI?

To be eligible, candidates must hold a 4-year or 5-year Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Production, Civil, IT, Design or related disciplines or Master degree in relevant fields. They must have also obtained at least 60% marks or 6.0/10 CPI, along with minimum of 60% marks in Class 12th or equivalent. They must have studied Mathematics till Class 12th.

IIT Guwahati MTech in Robotics & AI Classes from August 10 

All classes will be conducted online from Aug 10 and recorded so that students can learn at their own pace, while final exams will be held at IIT Guwahati campus. The minimum duration of programme is 2 years, with possibility of extending up to 5 years, allowing participants to manage both academic and professional responsibilities.
