IIT Guwahati Postpones GATE 2026 Admit Card Release Date

GATE 2026 Admit Card Release Date Postponed; Revised Date Soon.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati) has postponed the GATE 2026 admit card release date. The authority announced the postponment on the website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The revised date for the GATE admit card 2026 will be notified soon. Aspirants of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 now await the revised date for the admit card download. The GATE 2026 exam date is February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026. M.Tech exam aspirants will be able to download their IITG GATE admit cards from the GOAPS portal once the link is activated.

The GATE admit card is a mandatory document without which candidates cannot appear for the test. It will have the applicant's personal details, exam date, shift timing and exam centre information. Once released aspirants will require their enrollment ID and password to download the admit card.

Revised GATE 2026 Hall Ticket Release Date

There is no notification from the concerned authorities regarding the new date of the GATE admit card 2026. But it is expected that the admit card for GATE 2026 will be released around January 7, 2026. This tentative date is based on the past year when admit card was delayed. Candidates must wait for a formal announcement on the revised GATE admit card date.

How to Download GATE 2026 Admit Card?

Once the GATE hall ticket is released, candidates can download the same by-

• Visit the website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
• Click on the GATE candidate login and enter enrollment ID and password
• Select the Download admit card option 
• Save and take a printout of hall ticket
