How to apply for IIT Jodhpur GATE 2026?
Candidates have to fill form online. The official website to apply is iitj.ac.in. The first semester will begin in July 2026. Candidates have to provide their personal, educational, and GATE score details. The registration fee is INR 300 (for one programme) for general and OBC, and INR 150 (for one programme) for SC/ST and PwD applicants. Candidates are advised to enter their admission category carefully, as it cannot be changed once submitted.Β

Candidates must have passed BTech in a relevant discipline. The minimum qualifying mark is 60% for general/OBC category and 55% for SC/ST and PwD criteria.Β

GATE counselling 2026 will be conducted by COAP and CCMT, which will be done by respective IITs and IISc on rotational basis.
- Through COAP, students will be offered admission to IITs
- Through CCMT, students will be offered admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
Indian Institute of Technology will release GATE cutoff 2026 soon. The IITG GATE 2026 result has been declared. The conducting body releases the exam result and cutoff for all 30 subjects. The cutoff for GATE 2026 will be available category-wise. Candidates securing the minimum cutoff will be eligible to participate in counselling.
Note: The minimum qualifying cutoff will be different for all subjects.
The GATE counselling is conducted online by CCMT and COAP. Authorities will announce GATE results 2026 on March 19. Qualified candidates can participate in counselling. COAP is done IIT and IISc admission and CCMT for NITs and other institutions.
GATE-qualified candidates who want to apply must register at COAP first. After successful completion of registration, applicants will receive a COAP registration number, which will be needed at the time of making decisions on admission offers at COAP portal.Β

COAP 2026 counselling is expected to start anytime soon (First week of April/May). The Common Offer Acceptance Portal is applicable for the IIT MTech admission process. The registration process is free and is mandatory.Β
