IIT Madras has invited application for the Post-Baccalaureate fellowships. Check below to know to get more details.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is inviting application for Post-Baccalaureate fellowships in areas of data science and Artificial Intelligence at Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (RBCDSAI) centre.

Candidates who are interested in research offered by IIT Madras and have completed their Bachelor's degree can apply for one or two years fellowship can apply before the deadline. Selected candidates will be getting a stipend between Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000 per month.

To be eligible for Post-Baccalaureate fellowships, candidates must have obtained a Bachelor's degree within the last two years and have demonstrated academic excellence throughout their undergraduate.

As per the media reports, only four aspirants were selected last year, but for the current term, it has been extended to offer 15 internship positions. 

Some of the benefits interns will receive are access to high-performing CPUs/GPUs, a fully-funded trip to a national conference, and more. Interns will be able to work on a wide range of research topics such as deep learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, explainability in AI, smart cities, financial analytics, network analytics, among others. 

 Application Process

Candidates can apply for the Post-Baccalaureate fellowships by visiting the official website. The last date to submit the filled application form is on or before 20th of every month. All the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in the first week of the subsequent month. Applicants will have to provide the following:

  • Link to the online CV (Dropbox/OneDrive/Google Drive, etc.)

  • A short research proposal (300-500 words)

  • List of research areas (keywords)

  • List of any relevant online courses that have already been done
