IIT Mandi Hosts Global Conference on Consciousness Studies, Neuroscience and Wellbeing
IIT Mandi will host MBCC 2026 from June 3 to 6, bringing together global experts, researchers and artists to discuss consciousness, neuroscience, mental health and Indian knowledge systems.
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi will host 3rd International Mind, Brain and Consciousness Conference (MBCC 2026) from June 3 to 6 at its Kamand campus in Himachal Pradesh. The institute has invited researchers, scholars, students, industry experts, media representatives and members of public to participate.
IIT Mandi conference is being organised by Indian Knowledge System and Mental Health Applications (IKSMHA) Centre at IIT Mandi. More than 400 participants from India and abroad have registered.
Major attraction of conference will be participation of renowned Bharatanatyam exponent Padma Vibhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, who will attend inaugural session as chief guest and present special dance performance on June 3.
MBCC 2026 is being organised under Indian Knowledge Systems Division of Ministry of Education. This conference is being led by IIT Mandi Director Prof. Laxmidhar Behera along with a team of eminent academicians and researchers.
