IIT Roorkee SPARK internship programme 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has launched the SPARK internship programme 2023. Under the institute’s annual flagship programme, SPARK programme, IIT Roorkee offers internships to UG students from all over India. Students will be offered a stipend of INR 2,500 per week for six to eight weeks. The last date to register for the internship programme is March 31. 25 UG and 10 PG internships under IIT Roorkee SPARK internship program 2023

As a part its 175 years celebrations, IIT Roorkee will offer 25 UG and 10 PG internships specially for the students from Institutes within the 200 km range of IIT Roorkee under SPARK. The maximum duration of the UG internship will be six weeks, and the duration of the PG internship will be six months.

This internship programme aims to attract and nurture talented undergraduate students across the country, an institute statement said. Selected students will work on research topics with faculty members from 26 academic departments and centres.

Step 3: Click on sign up

Step 4: Enter your details such as name, mobile number and more

Step 5: Once registered, fill the application form

Step 6: Download the application form for future reference

This year internships are also offered in the newly established Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. While the last date to regsiter for the internship is March 31, the result will be announced in the second week of April, and student can start their internships in the second week of May 2023. Started in 2018, IIT Roorkee has offered institute-funded and project-funded summer internships under the SPARK program. The programme has been highly successful, with over 15,000 applications last year, out of which more than 120 offers were made.

The SPARK summer internship programme by IIT Roorkee aims to offer this experience to all interns selected after a tough competition among the brightest minds. We hope this internship program will change the life and mindset of some of the chosen minds of our country and create enthusiasm towards their field of study.”
