JEE Advanced 2022: Missed IIT entrance in 2020 or 2021, Reappear in upcoming session
JEE Advanced 2022 eligibility criteria have been relaxed for students who couldn’t appear for the exam. Check details below.
JEE Advanced 2022: Students who were eligible to appear for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced in 2020 or 2021 but could not appear for it are now allowed to appear for the exam in 2022. The relaxation has been offered to candidates in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The Joint Admission Board (JAB) also extended the relaxation for students who missed their exam in 2020. Eligible candidates were allowed to appear for the JEE Advanced in 2021. Candidates can check various details related to eligibility conditions for JEE Advanced 2022. One important point to note here is that any of these conditions are NOT applicable to candidates who appeared for their class 12 exam before 2020.
Eligibility 1: Those who appeared in Class 12 or equivalent in 2020/2021 and registered successfully for JEE Advanced 2021, but didn’t appear for the exam.
Eligibility 2: Students who appeared for the class 12 board exam or equivalent for the first time in 2020.
This one-time measure is applicable to ONLY those candidates who are appearing in the IIT entrance in 2022 for the first or second time. No candidate will be allowed to appear in JEE Advanced more than twice.
