JEE Advanced 2022 Registration Starts Today for Foreign Candidates

IIT Bombay has notified that foreign candidates who have appeared/are appearing for class 12 abroad can register for JEE Advanced 2022 from 15:00 IST on August 1, 2022, today. The registration will start at 3 pm on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Other candidates will be able to fill out the JEE Advanced 2022 application form on August 7. The application form will be available till August 11. JEE Main 2022 qualified candidates who aspire to take admission in the IITs, have to register for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced 2022 exam date is August 28.

Who is a foreign candidate for JEE Advanced 2022?

Candidates who are NOT citizens of India (by birth or naturalized) and/or are OCI/PIO card holders will be treated as foreign nationals.

Note that, foreign national candidates who have studied or are studying abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent at the time of registration for JEE (Advanced) 2022, are not required to write JEE (Main) 2022. They are eligible for JEE Advanced 2022 registration directly subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria.

However, Foreign national candidates who have studied or are studying in India at 10+2 level or equivalent are required to write JEE Main 2022 and qualify for JEE Advanced 2022 under the open category.

Documents needed for JEE Advanced 2022 registration

Foreign candidates will have to upload the scanned copy of the following documents in the online JEE Advanced 2022 application form:

• Birth certificate for age proof
• Class XII passing certificate
• Identity proof
• Citizenship certificate/Foreign Passport/OCI/PIO Card where applicable
• Testimonials where applicable
