The aspirants have raised their concerns on Twitter with the hashtag #JEEAdv2023For2021Passouts. They have been asking for an extra attempt as they were unable to take the exam due to technical issues and problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced aspirants, who have completed Class XII in 2020 and 2021, have been demanding an extra attempt for JEE Advanced 2023. A JEE aspirant on behalf of all those seeking an additional attempt at the exam has submitted yet another representation to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. 

The students belonging to the 2021 batch have been asking for an extra attempt as they were unable to take the exam due to technical issues and problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. They have sent representations in this regard to the members of the Joint Admission Board (JAB), a body that regulates the JEE Advanced exam. JEE Advanced 2023 is being conducted by IIT Guwahati this year. 

The All India Student’s Union (AISU) tweeted, “Another representation (Reminder )has been submitted by @rajmaraiya6 (JEE aspirant) on behalf of all JEE aspirants to @iitmadras/ It's our kind request to the authorities to consider JEE Aspirants genuine concerns. #JEEAdv2023For2021Passouts.”  

Last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main 2021 four times due to the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The aspirants have been running Twitter campaigns, sending representations to the organising team of the exam and have also written to Union Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighting their concerns. They have also raised their concerns on Twitter with the hashtag #JEEAdv2023For2021Passouts.
