JEE Advanced 2025: IIT Kanpur to Start Registrations from April 7 for These Candidates
IIT Kanpur will open the JEE Advanced 2025 registration for the Foreign National Candidates and OCI/PIO (F) Candidates from April 7 onwards. The Indian national candidates will be able to apply for JEE Advanced 2025 from April 23 onwards.
JEE Advanced 2025: IIT Kanpur to Start Registrations from April 7 for These Candidates
IIT Kanpur has announced that the JEE Advanced 2025 application form for the foreign nationals and the OCI/PIO (F) Candidates will start earlier than the registrations for Indian national candidates. The foreign nationals and the OCI/PIO (F) Candidates will be able to apply for JEE Advanced 2025 from April 7 to May 2. The Indian national candidates can access the online JEE Advanced 2025 application form from April 23 at jeeadv.ac.in. The last date to apply for Indian nationals is also May 2. All registered candidates, from all nationalities, will be able to complete the JEE Advanced registration fee payment by May 5.
As per the official notice - "Online Registration for JEE (Advanced) 2025 for Foreign National Candidates and OCI/PIO (F) Candidates will open on 7th April, 2025 (10:00 IST) and close on 2nd May, 2025 (23:59 IST). The last date for fee payment of registered candidates is 5th May, 2025 (23:59 IST)."
Note that this year, the JEE Advanced application fee has been increased for exam centres outside India. Specifically, candidates selecting Abu Dhabi or Kathmandu as their exam centres will need to pay USD 150, while those from non-SAARC countries will be charged USD 250—an increase of USD 50 compared to last year. However, the application fee for exam centres within India remains unchanged.
The JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled for May 18 for all candidates. JEE Advanced 2025 Paper 1 will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. To be eligible for admission to the IITs, candidates must attempt both papers. Registered candidates can download their JEE Advanced 2025 admit card between May 11 and May 18.

To apply for JEE Advanced 2025, candidates need JEE Main 2025 application number and password. This means only the candidates who qualify JEE Main for JEE Advanced, cand apply. Candidates have to login on the JEE Advanced application portal with JEE Main 2025 application number and password. Candidates have to furnish some details in the registration form. JEE Main details in the form will be prefilled from the JEE Main 2025 database. Next candidates need to enter the scanned documents as per the specifications. Then as the last step, candidates have to remit the application fee as applicable. This complete the JEE Advanced application process.
