JEE Main 2022 Exam Day Guidelines and COVID Instructions

JEE Main 2022 June Session exam will start tomorrow, June 23. National Testing Agency will be conducting the exam in 501 cities in India and 22 cities outside the country from June 23 to 29. The exam will be conducted in online mode as a Computer Based Test in two shifts each day. The first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm while the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main Admit Card 2022 has been released on June 21. Candidates can download their admit cards from the JEE Main 2022 website using their application number and date of birth. Details about exam day instructions, items allowed inside the exam centre, things to carry and COVID-19 guidelines for candidates have been provided through JEE Main 2022 admit card.

JEE Main hall ticket also has a “Self-Declaration” Undertaking part which has to be filled by candidates with details of travel history in the last 15 days and COVID-19 information. The exam day instructions and other important information for JEE Main 2022 phase 1 exam are:

  • Students should reach the exam centre as per the scheduled time mentioned in their admit card.

  • Candidates have to carry their JEE Main admit card 2022 along with a valid photo ID proof like Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID, School ID/ PAN/ Driving License, etc.

  • Candidates will be provided with rough sheets inside the exam hall.

  • Candidates suffering from diabetes will be allowed to carry eatables inside the exam hall such as sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed food such as chocolate, sandwich, etc. inside the examination hall.

  • Candidates should not carry any electronic devices like calculators, pager, or mobile phones inside the examination centre.

  • Students will not be allowed to enter the exam centre after the examination commences or leave before it ends

  • Candidates who have applied under the PwD quota need to carry the certificate for claiming relaxation.

Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to appear in the exam without JEE Main admit card. Candidates must therefore ensure they carry their admit card, one passport size colour photo and a photo ID proof to the exam centre.
